There are just over two weeks remaining for members of the public to vote for an individual or team that excelled at ‘seeing the person in the patient’ and delivered compassionate care.
This is part of the Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s annual staff awards, which pays tribute to the 3,300 staff working at both sites.
There are six award categories and the public are invited to vote in the Compassionate Care category.
The prize winners receive a trophy in recognition for their achievements.
The winners will be revealed at a celebratory awards ceremony involving around 200 people in late April.
Michelle Millson, winner of the Outstanding Demonstration of CARES Values award in 2015, said: "To find out that I had been nominated was such a privilege. Winning the award was amazing.
“I felt so happy that all of the hard work, effort and skill that go into my every day job had been recognised. When I heard my name being called out as the winner, words cannot describe how happy I felt."
Readers who know of a worthy applicant have been urged to show their appreciation by voting for them.
Nomination forms can be downloaded here.
