The German supermarket's new shop at 127-131 Field End Road, which will open on Thursday, is only about two miles from the Aldi that opened in South Ruislip at the end of April.
The new Aldi, described as a 'city store format', has been developed at vacant premises that used to be occupied by the Budgens food store, shown below.

The Google Street View maps below show how the road has changed since 2008.
The company said it has created over 60 jobs for people living nearby and it revealed that it still has various vacancies including deputy store managers, store assistants and caretakers.
The Eastcote Aldi will open at 7am on Thursday with a special ribbon cutting ceremony involving store manager Stephen Jones.
A statement from Aldi read: “As a city store format, the new Aldi has been designed to appeal to the needs of the local shoppers living and working in and around Eastcote. As well as the in-store bakery, it will offer shoppers a wider range of ‘Food-to- Go’ products; perfect for those popping in for their lunch whilst at work.”
Shoppers will be able to buy a range of products from gardening to electrical items, the company stated.
Opening hours will be:
Monday – Saturday: 7:00am – 11:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Stephen Jones, store manager, said: “The team and I are really looking forward to opening the new Eastcote store and meeting our customers for the first time.
“We’re sure the store will make a positive impact on the local area.”Like this story? Get free email newsletters via the form below
