The police said he was attacked by four men. They were called to “reports of a fight” just before 2.30pm today, The Metropolitan Police Service told Hillingdon is Here this evening.
There was one man found at the scene who had “suffered stab wounds” and he was taken to hospital. He is believed to be in his 20s.
His injuries were described as “not life threatening”.
Reports on social media suggested the victim had been stabbed in the leg but police said they were unable to confirm this when asked this evening.
An area has been cordoned off with police tape by the bus stop and just outside Eyewise opticians and Huttons Restaurant, at the end of the parade of shops.
DC Barrett, of Hillingdon CID, said: "At approximately 1430 hours in Long Lane Hillingdon a male has been attacked in the street by four males and has sustained serious injuries, he was taken a central London hospital where his injuries have been deemed not life threatening."

Police are on scene, with two patrol cars nearby and one officer on foot near the taped off crime scene.
No arrests have been made yet, as of 6.45pm.
The investigation is ongoing, with any witnesses or anybody with information on the crime asked to call the police via 101. Alternatively this can be done by calling Crimestoppers anonymously.
